Thanks to the fantastic work of the likes of Masato Nakamura, Tomoya Ohtani and Jun Senoe, the series has some of the most well-loved music in all of gaming. While Sonic has had his ups and downs in his 30 year history, it's almost impossible to deny the fact the soundtracks have always been incredible.

Many of the early reports turned out to be due to players playing on experimental Switch emulators, but Sega has already queued up a large patch to address other problems that have since emerged. After physical editions of the game were delayed into next month in many regions, the game was hit by reports of significant technical issues with the Switch version. Sonic Colors: Ultimate has had its fair share of problems recently, though the killer of a soundtrack certainly isn't one of them. Unfortunately, as of writing, the more expensive Exclusive Edition, which features lots of colors eye-catchingly splattered across the vinyl, has already sold out of its 500 copies.
The vinyl comes in two editions, both with Jun Senou and Tomoya Ohtani's soundtrack and cover art by artist Matt Stevens. With exclusive new cover art and two editions available, it's definitely going to be one that Sonic fans will want to get their hands on.
